What Kind Of Pipe Is The Churchwarden Italian Briar Pipe?

 The Pipephils website shows a short version of this pipe - with a P-shaped mouthpiece on the mouthpiece, not on the headman's mouthpiece. I removed the mouthpiece from the mouthpiece and took photographs to show the general appearance of this beautiful pipe. I put the mouthpiece back on the bowl and carefully polished the pipe with the Blue Diamond on the grinding wheel, lightly brushing the briar. 

The pipe is stamped on the left side of the mouthpiece and reads "TV PIPE" and on the right side it reads "Root of Algeria" [top] "Made in France". The flaming La brica grain pattern used by Savinelli follows the shape of the pipe, enhancing its design. Exterior finish may vary slightly from picture as each natural Savinelli briar pipe is unique. 

It is very pleasant to use such a pipe, since the smoke coming out of the bowl is far from the eyes. Our uniquely crafted churchwarden pipes typically produce a cool smoke due to the cosmic smoke that must pass from the bowl to the mouthpiece.

These "church guards" could not be expected to go all night without smoking, so the  with exceptionally long mouthpieces to keep the smoke and pipe out of their line of sight while they watched. This beautiful and delicious long church pipe has no large bowl and will give you 30-40 minutes of cool smoke.
